Arqavan Building
Karaj,
Azimiyeh
The main idea of the Arqavan project is based on the concept of “the blossoming of inner potential and its expression outward”—a notion reflected in the building’s form, façade, and spatial organization
This project was designed for one of the most distinguished athletes in the history of Iranian martial arts—an individual whose professional journey symbolizes growth, perseverance, and the transformation of inner talent into global achievement. Accordingly, the architectural approach focused on expressing this inner dynamism and emergence through spatial and formal articulation
This layered structure has shaped more human-centered and dynamic interior spaces — spaces that reflect the lifestyle, taste, and rhythm of different residents within a harmonious whole
Formal Approach
In the volumetric language of the project, interior masses gradually emerge from within the primary volume toward the exterior. This process extends from plan to façade, allowing light quality, views, and privacy to be shaped in a controlled and differentiated manner across various floors
Arqavan Residential Building redefines the relationship between interior and exterior in contemporary residential architecture. In this project, the façade is not merely an outer surface, but an expression of life in motion — where every projection, every shadow, and every spatial gesture narrates a part of the residents’ story
