The award ceremony for the “Architectural Design of the Pars Foolad Sabzevar Factory Entrance” competition was held at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran.

According to the business report by Mehr News Agency, the Development Manager of Pars Foolad Sabzevar Company and the representative of the competition organizer said: Following the announcement of the call for participation in this competition, 199 applicants registered, and by the submission deadline, 39 designs were delivered. Afterwards, in the judging sessions held on the 22nd and 23rd of Dey with the presence of renowned judges in the field of architecture, the submitted works were reviewed and the top projects were selected.

Shahram Niknam noted: After the announcement of the jury statement, a ceremony was held on Thursday, 14th of Bahman, in Shahid Avini Hall of the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Tehran, with the presence of managers and staff of Pars Foolad Sabzevar Company, members of the Board of Directors of the Architecture Experts Association of University of Tehran, the competition manager, the jury, the president of the Faculty of Fine Arts, and a number of professors and senior figures of the architecture community, to honor the winners of the competition.

Mr. Engineer Bozorgmanesh, the competition manager, presented a report on how the competition was held at the beginning of this event. After that, Dr. Mohammad Saeed Izadi, the head of the jury, read the jury statement, and the jury members including Dr. Shahin Heydari, Dr. Mahmoud Golabchi, Engineer Farnaz Salajegheh, Engineer Hamidreza Pourdilami, and Engineer Ali Yavari delivered speeches.

At the end of the ceremony, all submitted works were displayed and the award ceremony for the winners took place as follows:

First Place: Hamed Behkam, Amin Ghaffari, Hananeh Paknejad, Armin Rahimi Vand

Second Place: Mahtiam Shahbazi, Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch of Tehran; Marjan Ghanbari, Sahar Soltani, Sama Shokoohi, Hedieh Sadat Hosseinian, Mahyar Asanlou Khar

Third Place: Mehdi Mokhtari, Golrokh Heydarian

Fourth Place: Aftabgardan Architecture Group – Maryam Mahmoudi Tirabadi, Farzaneh Abedini Niassari, Elham Khakpour Qareh-Shiran, Shahab Ziaei, Aida Mahmoudi Tirabadi

Fifth Place: Hamideh Achak, Hedieh Tavana

In addition, the jury recognized six works as commendable. With the proposal of the competition manager and the approval of the Board of Directors of Pars Foolad Sabzevar Company, certificates of appreciation and gift cards valued at 20,000,000 rials were awarded to them.

In the end, all those involved in the competition, especially Mr. Engineer Bozorgmanesh (competition manager), Mr. Engineer Niknam (representative of the competition organizer), and the jury members were appreciated.
