Mehdi Mokhtari

Designer
is a graduate of Architectural Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Tehran and a member of Iran’s National Elites Foundation. He has over eighteen years of professional experience in architectural design and has worked on a wide range of projects—from residential and industrial townships to cultural, commercial, and hospitality complexes
Throughout his career, he has earned numerous awards and honors, including the Gold Medal of the Golden Trezzini International Competition, awards from Memar Magazine and Honar va Sakhteman, first place in the Fars Urban Element Design Competition, third place in the Pars Foolad Sabzevar Monumental Competition, and being a finalist for the Memar Magazine Award
In addition to his professional practice, Mehdi is active in research and writing, with more than six academic articles and a contribution to the book Function of the Form
His design philosophy
is rooted in the search for meaning in space, the primacy of function, and the creation of experiences that place human emotion and perception at the core of architecture. He views architecture as a process of understanding life—not merely the act of constructing space. This perspective forms the essence of Mokhtari Design Studio, which, through a human-centered approach, focuses on creating and developing meaningful spaces
